Hey, it seems like months since there has been an update about Strange Fate, every six months or so I get the urge to come back and check. I started reading your books when I was about 14, having found the dusty, blue-covered 'Secret Vampire' at the back of my cupboard, probably given to me by my cousin. At that time it was really hard to get ahold of the others, but between myself and my best friend, we managed, intrigued by Poppy and James' story.

As a nostalgic person, it was so uplifting to see your books republished and a television series recently, 16 years after the initial release of Secret Vampire. Yet still, after re-reading them all, we still await Strange Fate. I'm 23 now and shamelessly admit, I would still go back and read it. I know you probably get asked questions about this everyday, but as an almost decade-long follower, I would just like to ask if there has been any progress since the last update?

So just thought I'd drop by and say I love the Secret Circle on the CW. I'll have to admit I didn't read the books, I wish I had the time like I used too but I adore the show and all the characters, although nothing will ever separate me from my Vampire Diaries

Thank you sooo much for your epic books. I was stupid enough to read Phantom and just hated the feeling and vibe. I decided to re-read the Mindnight books as an ender for me. But I need to know if Damon and Bonnie end together. Do they? Im not going to read any more of the Vampire Diaries - the ones from the ghost writer because of the different feel and what not!! I would love/wish that L.J. would have the Vampire Diaries made into a movie that she helped produce to get it the most accurate because i would love to see the Dark Dimension. :)

So, I was reading that the VD are not LJ Smith's exculsive property and I'm pissed for her. I first read the VD when I was twelve years old and then I have systematically collected everything she ever wrote. I bought Phantom too and now I'm mad because they tricked me. I just wanted to say that I won't buy another thing that's not written by her. I don't want someone else to get paid for stealing what I believe is her property. Please keep writing...I love your books and the stories have kept me company for a long time.

I just wanted to say that everytime I pick up one of your books my whole body shakes with excitement because I know what is to come! My all time favorite books by you are deffinatly, 100%, the NIGHT WORLD series, they are all so thrilling! You have writen nine (soon to be ten!!!!! xD So excited for strange fate) AMAZING masterpieces! When I found out that you might be finishing it this year in winter it made my week, and I called my friend who also loves your work and she is so excited too!

First of all, I want to thank about these amazing books but, are you really stop it like...?? I mean, a saga like this should have a real ending. Everything ends in a weird way. It feels a bad taste if you know what I mean. I guess we are a lot of fans who think that Stefans diaries will neer be the same. At last, many may be Stelena's fans but there are many Delena's fans as well. It would be interesting watching more about that relationship of 4. So please, please, please!!! I know the book strange fate will be released when ready and all that but i have seen on amazon now that its not going to be until 2030?! Please say we aren't going to have to wait another 18 years i might cry :( . Love all your books you are brilliant! Xxx

So im reading the vampire diaries: midnight. And i live the connection between bonnie and damon. I mean honestly when we get down to it, dont we all love theyre relationship more than stelena or delena? Cause i know that anything with a bonnie and damon connection, has me completely in. And im sad that the show is nothing like the books. Because i would of liked to see a meredith character and a "redbird", small, pixie, redheaded bonnie. Anyone with me here?

She's actually been working on it much longer than 2007 but she was having some difficulty in her personal life and stopped writing for awhile.

To put it in context, I've been waiting since 1998 for this book. If I can wait that long, I'm sure you can handle waiting a little longer. Have patience. It is going to be amazing when it is done. If you join the forum, there are some excerpts from Strange Fate there. A chapter or two I believe. I haven't read them yet because I'm waiting for the whole book.

Having been undergoing treatment for a brain tumor, I am still amazed at how much I like your books at 30 years of age. Thanks for making my childhood and recovery better.

Also thanks for another Forbidden Game book. Tom....I always felt like Tom did take Jenny for granted, ;and that Julian came to love her as much as possible in the end.

I am also the one that guessed Maya was back in Strange Fate a few years back.
