Hi everybody,
I'm so sorry for not updating this sooner. I've been up to my ears in work. Two short stories-one of which will appear here soon, and two books-one of them medium long and the other looooooong. In addition I was just informed that my landlord just lost the house I'm currently renting to the bank, and I have only two months to buy a new one. (If anyone remembers, I'm living in an in-betweener house so I can find and buy one that suits me perfectly-but that takes time, and time is the one thing I don't have anymore.) I have terrible luck with houses. I mean, can anyone else say that they have lost one home to a landslide (and barely escaped with life and some property); that they've lost a second to the Russian Mafia (they had the true ownership of it and had been using it as a base for fraud); and a third to a blown water pipe that flooded the place (while I was in southern California, caring for my mom)? I'm just praying that there won't be an earthquake.
What I'm trying to say is that I'm awfully sorry to neglect you, but please try to understand-it's not out of choice. And with a Night World book coming out in just a few days, I owe it to my readers, new and old, to update this. The first of the Secret Circle books is just around the corner, too! These are the old books, in new clothing, so to speak, but how about this-Harper has moved the date for the first new Vampire Diaries book to next March! They want to get it out as soon as possible.
This book will be the first of a trilogy about Damon. I'm not sure what the title will be, but it will probably be either simply Damon or Damon: Dark Seed, followed by two other Damon: _______ titles. Please do tell me if you have a preference, as reader input is very important to me.
