As for the possibility of Lisa writing her version of TVD as a fanfic, I think there might have been something in her contract that would prevent her from doing that. I don't really know. Right now, she has several projects that she is working on, so she really doesn't have time to focus on TVD. Of course, we would love to read whatever she writes.

I have a question: Publishers(Allo y) have rights to the others Lisa's books ?
All of Lisa's other books are with a different publisher and have no association with Alloy. Lisa holds full author rights. That means the publisher will not be allowed to hire a ghostwriter. They will still be able to decide whether they publish sequels, but sequels will either be written by Lisa or not at all.
I was just wondering if L.J. could publish her own books with another publisher or even post them online.
I also think she might be able to sue the publisher for using her amein a book she didnt write.
I would also post a video on youtube about this, but I am very bad at movie making so I was hoping someone else could that.

The bit on Princess Aprit's story in the gallery is the only piece of information regarding Princess Aprit's story that can be found on this website. Maybe once Lisa has Strange Fate finished she will tell us a bit more about it. I for one would would love to learn more about it. It looks like it's going to be very different from most of the YA novels out at the moment because it has fauns and more in it, which will be very refreshing. Hope this helps!

Thank you :) and i agree with you reading is the best thing to do and writing as well. I'm only 17 years old and it's been only a year for me in writing and I do it just for fun. The only advice i could give you is to let your imagination go wild, and no limits! I didn't find an agent yet 'cause it's pretty hard in Lebanon, but I'm still hoping. Best luck for you!

im not sure but i think they show only when they are replied i.e. i can see my comment when posted, there is no check approval but a report this comment thread under the post so i think it is as and when someone replies, other posts might show as comments are added, these are instantaneous but it may take days before someone chooses to reply to ur comment

Great poem! I love it. Congrats on writing your sequel. How do you do it? I'm trying to write something at the moment but I either hit a wall or Ikeep coming up with new stories that take over and I get all muddled up. Any advice on how to get around it? Thanks
thank you so much! :) you see if you're writing a fiction story, you can always come up with a solution for the problems, that's when your imagination works. But if you're writing a non-fiction story, make up a plan before you start writing, write down the introduction, the problem, the actions, then the resolution, and if you want to end it mysteriously you can always come up with a new problem and end the story leaving the readers to decide whether the characters are going to make it or not. After you finish the plan, start brainstorming extra scenes and ideas to enrich the story and then start writing it down. That should do it!

Your question got made me curious, so I had to check it out. The hardback version of The Forbidden Game available at The Book Depository says that it was published by Turtleback Books. According to their website, they “offer the largest and best selection of prebound books exclusively to wholesalers and resellers serving the library and school markets.” Maybe the hardback editions were leftovers from supplies originally published for schools and libraries. I know with TVD it says on the booklist page that there were a limited edition special hardback omnibus that came out as part of a book club. It could be something like that. I’m not sure. It is just a thought. Anyway, I hope you’re able to find out for sure.

I thought I should write something, cause I always been following the guestbook.... but don't ever write anything on it, anyways here's the thing. What do you guys think of the casting for the secret circle tv series... I think it sucks as bad as the TVD one, except damon is the only one that fits the image in my head... Anyways should the characters at least have the right hair colour and other traits as in the book??? Let me know what you think about it. Im curious what your thoughts are about it. Im pretty frustrated that they didn't get it right again!!!

I really love TVD tv series,but unlike most people who comment on here, i'm actually from England. I was wondering if anyone knows the release date for the U.K??? Hope someone knows!!!

I'm also a TVD fan in England. There has been no official air date as of yet but ITV2 have confirmed that they will be airing it in either late September or early October. Sorry I couldn't give more specific information!
Just out of curiosity, what part of England are you from? I'm from Herefordshire.

I can't wait for Vampire Diaries to start in the UK again! I'm from England too, there are a lot of VD fans up in the North where I live!
It's nice to know that there are other English fans on the site.
We're lucky that the delay between the US airing and the UK airing is only a couple of weeks for TVD. Most shows are shown ridiculously late. Supernatural is on in September in the the US and isn't shown until June or July the next year! I'm pretty sure that if TVD was aired that late, there would be an uprising by the fans.

I had no idea that it was both of those series and when i google it its like nothing has happened. Theres even information on a 'possible' sequal. Could someone please clear this up for me? Thanks
I noticed the note about Secret Circle and can only assume the worse has happened. I think Lisa may not want to make a big public announcement like she did for VD because it is so emotionally draining. Who could blame her? The explanation she gave for VD could also be applied to SC. I don’t think we can expect any acknowledgement from Alloy because they are spineless, conniving, cowards. All we can do is refuse to purchase any future SC unless Lisa tells us she wrote every word of them. Even if she posts some nonsense about not boycotting, I’m not buying a ghostwritten book.
On another note, Lisa has full author rights to all her other books. They are with a different publisher and not associated with Alloy. Any sequels will be written by Lisa. The publisher will not be allowed to hire a ghostwriter.
This is just my opinion, but I think Lisa will at least mention the side characters. The ones I think she may include more actual storyline for are Mark/Jade and Hugh. The reason I think this is that Mark and Jade are soulmates but they didn't get a lot of attention. I think Hugh might have some valuable information or play a key role because he is an old soul. I would be happy to find out more about any of the characters you mentioned. I'm curious about what others think, too.
I think that the TV series for Vampire Diaries is brilliant, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing! And, the credit has to go to Lisa, of course, for thinking up the ideas for the series in the first place!

I write my own stories at Tumblr in Dutch because I'm Belgian but I'm really good at English .Its hard to write a post everyday and getting inspiration but it feels good an its worth it! Because my dream is becoming a writer and being published.But I'm only 14 so I guess I should wait some years.
Seriously, go for it! There are loads of really good young singers (for example, Birdy, who's fifteen, fourteen when she recorded her first song) so why can't there be young writers too?
I totally agree with Nelly, why wait? Just go for it. It will probably take a while to get published anyway so the sooner you start the sooner you get published.
