After Hours
Matt and Elena - First Date
In a completely new story written specifically for this site, we get a look back in time to Matt and Elena’s first date, a year before Elena will meet Stefan. Matt takes Elena to the most expensive restaurant around, and finds that she isn’t the Ice Princess he’s been expecting. Cuddly, romantic—the greatest danger in this story is the risk of social humiliation.
Jez and Morgead's Night Out
This is an untold story from the past, when Jez and Morgead were still struggling regularly with the leadership (and with each other). It’s not for the faint of heart—Jez’s gang is on the trail of a serial killer, but I think that it makes some valid social points. And of course, there’s the love scenes, too!
Thicker Than Water
This story is about what happens to Keller and some of the other Night World characters during the night when the Apocalypse finally comes about. You don’t need to have read Strange Fate to understand it—which is a good thing since Strange Fate hasn’t been published yet. Rating: all ages, a little gory.
An Untold Tale: Elena's Christmas
This is a little sugarplum of a story brought on by the holiday season. It’s a fantasy, really, since I’m not sure you could work it into the two weeks Elena spent relearning to walk, talk, and identify the Senate Majority Whip on a television. It may exist only in Neverland. But I wanted to give a Christmas present and the story of Cassie rescuing Nick from Deep Waters is ballooning into a novel, and didn’t end on a very cheery note, anyway.
Matt and Elena - Tenth Date: On Wickery Pond
Ash and Mary-Lynnette: Those Who Favor Fire
This is, at last, the continuation of the story of Ash Redfern and Mary-Lynnette Carter. For those who haven't read the original, or don't remember, although they are soulmates, the stargazer Mary-Lynnette sent the vampire Ash packing when she heard about the sins of his past. Ever since, a reformed Ash has been trying to make amends. But will it ever be enough for Mary-Lynnette? And what's on the disk that Mary-Lynnette's friend claims will save humankind? Rating: PG for mild violence. For romantics.

Some say the world will end in fire; Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To know that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice. ~ Robert Frost
