Cut from The Vampire Diaries: Shadow Souls for space. Elena and Damon have had an argument while driving to the Gateway to the Dark Dimension. Damon has stopped the car at a crossroads, and now Elena is pacing angrily. Tumbleweeds are all around them—piled up in suspicious mounds. Elena is furious at Damon, who has scarcely spoken to her all day. She can't understand why he won't even look at her.

They are endgame. I just finished the last book (so far). I am still super bummed about all the last 6 books. They just don't have the same feel to them! But Delena does end up endgame.

*spoiler*I wish that this didn't have to be removed. I loved this interaction with them. although, I wanted to scream at Damon, just do it already, she needs to know how you feel! There were so many times in the series that he could have done that and maybe things would have been different but he didn't.

I always love reading Damon's POV and getting to know how he feels beneath his icy exterior.

I just read the "comment policy" section. I didn't realize we were not supposed to talk about the ghost-written books. You can delete my comment if you want! So sorry! I love your work! I wish you were the one to keep writing the series. The ghost writer really screwed everything up!
