Out of all of LJ Smith's books The Forbidden Game is my favourite by far. I have never read a book that has made me fall madly in love with the baddie before and still have those feeling nearly 20 years later. Julian is delicious and I seriously hope they never make a tv series or movie on this series as I don't want my images of the characters (especially Julian) to be ruined. It wouldn't do them justice. Oh and my surname is Thornton too so I liked that.

There is no words to describe my love for this book. I've made all my friends read it and they love it too. Ive become sooo attached to Julian and when he died I was heartbroken (I cried) and now I hear that there might be a fourth book and he will come back. I actually starting acting like a prepubescent 13 year old lol. I'm looking forward to the next book and I hope it comes out soon!!! :F

*****SPOILER ALERT****** I absolutely LOVE my copy of The Forbidden Game series which was from the nineties. It was a omnibus I guess because all three were in one, supposedly a collectors edition. It got stolen but I remembered all the details and when I bought the newest ones they didn't really match up detail wise. I guess they were modernized. Great story still though I would've liked it if Jenny had ended up with Julian.

I love this trilogy. You have amazing talent that i see in few authors. I would like it so much if you wrote a sequel *SPOILER ALERT!!!* But i think that Julian should come back, after all there wouldn't have been a first book without him.

I read these books as a teenager and I loved them! I may just have to re read them again. This would be an awesome movie series..Hint hint Hollywood!! I too fell in love with Julian and secretly wanted Jenny to be with him. To those who have not read this series, I highly suggest you do!

I just finished reading The Forbidden Game, and I have to say it was epic beyond measures! L.J. Smith has a true gift!!! I need a fourth book, or I'm going to go crazy about wondering if.... *********SPOILE R ALERT********* if Jullian is going to come back! Can someone leg me know?!?! ^_^

I love the variety of characters potrayed in this novel. After the Night World Series, this was my next book that my heart was set on. Perhaps create a sequel to this novel? :D If there's one thing I would like to shout out is JULIAN IS WICKEDLY COOL! :lol:

I love these books!Very rarely do I fall in love with a character like I have done with Julian.I have read the trilogy 100 times since I got it..And now I see there may be another book.I am so excited,doin the happy dance!lol

I'm not even fully done with the book but i had to find out if she went with Julian! i don't know why i am so upset about her not being with him but i am! I read dark visions and LOVED it so i figured this would be like that, but still its a great book, i hope she makes a sequel to "the kill"!

dear l. jane smith , I am a BIG fan I have watched all the vampire diaries and have read the forbidden game over 10 times i have read the 1st night world book + thought it was wonderful :) !! i have had two stories published in the young writers compatition ... i am only 13 but would love to become an author when i finnish school :) xx you have inspired me as a young writer .

I've re-read these books until my copies look like something the dog chewed on. I've been babying them so that they lasted over the years. I can't wait until this new book comes out. I was so upset when Julian died. I am so thrilled that a new book is coming out!

I absolutely LOVED all three books of the Forbidden Game, but the ending was so sad, please make a sequel for this book and if possible could Julian and Jenny be together(as a couple) because they obviously have feelings for each other (even though Jenny is trying to deny her feelings for Julia) LOVED THE BOOKS & PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL WITH JULIAN AND JENNY EVENTUALLY BEING A COUPLE. you are an amazing author!!

Miss Smith does intend to EVENTUALLY write a forth installment called The Forbidden Game: Rematch!

I am 31 years old this year and I wanted to say that The Forbidden Game Trilogy is my favorite book from L.J Smith.

I read them when I was about 14 years old and I love Julian so much! I did not have anyone to discuss it with then(I am not living in the States), which was sad but at the same time, I could keep him all to myself. :D

I love the story so much to the extent of not returning the books to the library, instead I paid a fine to keep the books with me! :P What to do? During 1998, online shopping and internet was not so advanced.

I will like to thank the author for creating such a wonderful and in-depth character that will always be part of my memories!

Please let julian and jenny end up together! Julian is just so well constructed as a character one can't help but hope that he and jenny end up together. As he says: light to darkness. He really does need her as the light to his darkness and she needs him because while tom may be a good match, Julian is the one who will help her blossom
