Hi again Lisa, I have just brough midnight and once again am not sure when I will have time to read it or not because of stupid work lol but anyway, It will be kind of a sad day when i do start to read it, knowing that you won't be writing any more VD books, but I really can't wait for strange fate. I have just put Damon on an unreachable pedastool, I loved him before but now he really rocks.

It's just not Vampire Diaries without you writing them. It's basically telling a mother that her baby WILL be put up for a closed adoption only after she carried and cared for it for years. It's a heinous crime.

I really think is a very good story, I absolutly love the first 4 books, to be honest, didn't like the Kintsunes or what was going on on town with the young girls, but even when there are parts that I don't like, even when I think they shouldn't brake Stefan's hearth, I really think that Mrs Smith has to be the one to give an ending to the story, it's her world, not the publisher's.

Firstly... Oh-My-Days!! How amazing was Midnight!! I have to say that Shadow Souls and Midnight have been the most fascinating reads!! I never could have guessed what was going to happen... And the revelations throughout the book were well and truly mind-blowing! My book arrived in the post on Friday and had read it all by Saturday night.

Secondly, I was completely devastated to hear that you will not be writing the rest of the books. I have to say that I don't feel particularly inspired to read them if they are not written by you as I wasn't impressed that Stephan's diaries was linked in to the show (as much as I love the TV show).

I also just wanted to say that the 7 Vampire Diaries books have been the books that have re-kindled my love for reading. I think that your writing style and character development is amazing. Every time I pick up one of them I literally have to prize myself away (even if it its the 4th time I've read books 1-6 this year)!! x

I've looked online to see when Strange Fate comes out into book stores and I have gotten two different dates... When does it come out? This year 2011 or next year 2012???

your books inspire me. i have read most of them and on my way to reading the rest. i am addicted to night world seires. all the books i get by you i love them. i thank you for the hard work and dedcition it took u to put in each and everyone of your book. it must of took a lot of time to write them. every time i get one of your books i get so exicted to sit down and read it. i also love the pictures on your site it was a great idea to match picture to the description. on the behalf of all ur fans we thank you for all your hard work!

I've just finished reading Midnight, it was amazing! You are one of the few authors that have made me sink into a book and not emerge until it's finished, and normally very late, and I think you're the only author that's ever made me cry because of the ending to a book. My friends all agree with me when I say that it's unfair that you should have your series and your characters taken away from you. I know it sounds quite cheesy but thank you for the books that have helped me get through some hard times, that have given me somewhere to go when I felt the world was against me.

are you planning to write more about the forbidden games? Julian is the most fascinated character that i ´ve ever read! i think he deserves a better end, i hope with all my heart that you give him another chance!

I am starting the nightworld series do u need to read them in order? Or can u skip around?

Dear Ms. Smith,
I am so sad that you are not going to be writing the rest of the series. It's not fair. They're your characters and story. and the fact that their going to still use your name for the books is just low. They know the only way the books will sell is if the readers see it's you who wrote them! Your books have made me believe there is still true love out there in this world of hate! I have been a Stefan and Elena fan from the begining and still am! I think you had it right from the start and even though I still love Damon's character I believe you had it right from the start.
The fact that this ghost writer is going to screw with your characters is messed up! I hope that you get to write the TRUE story later on!

I understand how EVERYONE is an uber fan of the vampire diaries. I mean, I'm a fan too but, I really love the night world series! I finished all three book in less than a week. I want to know if there will ever be any more night world books. I really love them and the soul mate principle is genius! Please don't let it be the end!

I have to say that I was once a twilight fan. People knew as a crazy fan for twilight but then one day I found Vampire Diaries. It was the first book I read by L.J.Smith. I loved it and now when people talk to me about twilight I say I read GOOD books since then. I get soooo mad when people say that vampire diaries was copied when it was written in 1991. I just want to say that all us vampire diaries fans KNOW what a good no a brilliant book is!

I love reading and i have read lots of books but these books i find are well written the polt in them are so decieving meaning you think you have worked out the plot then BOOM it turns out that you got it totally wronge. I absolutely fell in love with The Forbidden Game! It was kind of a cliff hanger and that's one of the reasons I loved it but it left me curious. Does Jenny go into the Gebo rune when she dies? Does she finally realize that Julian was her soulmate all along? Are there any side stories? As you can tell this is my favorite book!

I'm sure you get hundreds of comments everyday with the exact same thing: I love you! I read Night World before any of Vampire Diaries and fell in love with them. It was about this time that I decided I wanted to be an author more than anything in the whole world, and that's because you inspired me.
My friends think it's just a faze, and I know nobody wants to hear what I write, I can tell it doesn't interest them. But, there will always be someone who wants to read my work, I believe that. There will always be ups and downs after all, that's life.
I can't wait for your next book! Be it Vampire Diaries or Night World or anything else. You're going to have to promise that anything coming up will be just as good as what you have already done.

What is happening to you is awful and a disgrace to 'hopefully' every VD fan out there. Hopefully the digital voice of everyone may be enough to stop this catastrophe from happening. I will always know L.J.'s writing from someone else, and I hope that this 'ghostwriter' knows she is making a lot of loyal L.J. Smith fans very, very, VERY, upset.
