music_of_the_night. . . about which of the Midnight Jewel Boxes you like best, and second best, and third best, etc..  You can just click on the little pictures to see the names of the boxes.  The reason you might want to do this is that on June 15, at some hour unknown even to me at this point, the winners (both USA and foreign) will be notified in this blog, and possibly elsewhere (I'll make it clearer than mud come the day)..  If you happen to see your name and the location you've used to identify yourself  (like "Emma who lives under the Troll bridge") then you'll want to send an email to me as soon as possible.  But, to try to please the most people the best I can, I am giving instructions to the winners to write down their first choice, second choice, third choice, etc.  But if this is the first time you've ever been able to sit down and look at the boxes and their names, and you try to pick just one or two choices while you're flummoxed, then somebody else might get in ahead of you. I don't want to be emailing back and forth all day, so in order to get your Midnight Jewel Box--and the Tiffany Flower necklace and the autographed copy of Midnight--that go with it if  you are the first person to get their email to me--I am making this part of the contest rules.  If you win, you must email me a list that looks roughly like the one below  (In other words. NOT ALL ON ONE LINE)--but of course with your own choices in it:

(EXAMPLE)

1. Wedding Carriage
2. Music of the Night
3. Crown
4. Violetta, etc
all the way to
10.

And, by the way, we do actually have a tenth box that never made it into pictures.  It is pale violet in color, bejewelled as for a princess, and I call it "The Violetta" because I also never saw a name for it.  Remember as you look at the boxes, that there are two, open and closed, for the Wedding Carriage, but both are views of one carriage. I also have more than one of some of the boxes.

If you have a list done ahead of time then you won't have to worry about doing it at the last minute when, to your astonishment, you see your name here with the other winners.. You know all Oscar nominees have a Thank You note just hidden somewhere.  There are only ten winners--but one might be you!  Again, this contest is open to all countries, but if the taxes or customs your country imposes are your business.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

And what my last blog cut me off from saying-- that my readers are the most precious things in the world to me, and that I love each of you and that nothing makes me more proud than your loyalty.  (One reader had a question about this.)  You girls, guys, women--and, yes, some men--are the best!!
