I've seen the show, and I'm going to read the books soon!! according to the vampire diaries site not all the short stories and cuts are on the site. Is there a reason behind this?
To fans: Vampire Diaries are in a time loop, just like in 1994 when they were in a prison world. If you watch the season 1 trailer its Elena and Stefan's second chance.

I'm actually so excited for this book to come out!! I really hope it will be out by the end of 2012. I suppose I could wait until I turn 99 if it was nessacary but I'd much rather get it sooner so I can re-read it even more!!! I know it will be worth the wait. Quality takes time. Everything I try to do has "The solution of task you submitted was incorrect. Please read the instruction and try again" at the very top. I would retry and get the same message. And the secind thing is that I was never sent a activation email and i can't use that email to log in and now nothing works. my iPad is new so it should work but it doesnt. im using my second email to send this.

I'm assuming you are referring to Strange Fate, the book has never passed the finished manuscript phase (no audio version). Lisa's still writing it but she is currently very sick and in the hospital. She's not writing until better. Hasn't been 20+ years as the original story was not set for release until 1998. It's only 2016, few years yet before it's even 20. Finally - true fans are those who will wait, until the end of time, hoping. Not angry fans trying to bash her for working on Vampire Diaries while it was successfully reprised.

This book will never come out. LJ Smith is more worried about writing fan fiction on Kindle for Vampire Diaries, a book series she finished years ago than finishing the one fans have been patiently waiting 20+ years to be finished. Hell is likely to freeze over before this book even comes out.

Lisa has been in the hospital for most of the last year not writing anything whatsoever because she nearly DIED. She was released and posted a message to her fans about her illness, but she relapsed and is back in the hospital since about March of this year according to her sister Judy. You are right, she may never finish this book, but she doesn't own it to anyone but herself to finish. Rather than be upset about it, either wish her well or keep quiet.

Lisa posted some pictures on her Facebook page a couple days ago. But no word on the status of her recovery. We can assume she is slowly gaining strength. She also uploaded a video of her dog playing.
