When I read the first paragraph of The Divide, not knowing that it was being ghost-written, it seemed off. I noticed it wasn't your writing style. I ignored it and carried on despite the story not grabbing me, maybe you writing style had changed...? I then noticed inconsistencies : Diana who was always accepting of Outsiders was now aversed to them; Deb and Suzan who had previously shied away from Faye were back with her the day after John Black was gone which seemed weird and right then I had decided I didn't like the book, not like the others. Then I was on google looking for answers to the questions the book had piqued and I found out that you hadn't written it and that made lots of sense.
TBC...
And now I realise this has no point besides telling you that I support you and cannot continue reading The Divde, not only because of support but also because it didn't grip me as the others immediatly did.
Julian.
PS: I've started reading the Dark Visions Trilogy and love it!
I read somewhere that she GAVE the rights away, only finding out after that this was not true by a comment futher up.
I fully disagree with what they did and as I have said, shall continue to support her.
Your Reply comes off as rather rude, you could of simply explained instead of making yourself sound that way.
It didn't sound that way to me, it's just this has been explained many times on this site and is a sensitive subject. I'm sure it wasn't meant to sound rude, as Michelle wouldn't want it to. It's great to see that you still support LJ and that you got your information from an incorrect source and now you know the truth :)
Honestly, I loved the books, but all of that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^ confuses me.
I hope dear Lisa that one day you will want to and be able to publish your Secret Circle books.
If you should ever come across this comment you should know that I think and many many others would agree that you are a master of your craft and there are very few writers of fantasy work that posess such talent of storytelling!
